3-year-old killed in Birmingham crash

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A 3-year-old boy died after he was in a crash involving at least two vehicles in Birmingham on Saturday.

Za’Quarrius Kelly, of Bessemer, was a passenger in a car involved in a vehicle crash on I-59 South near Oporto Madrid Boulevard. The crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. Saturday.

Kelly was transported to Children’s of Alabama, where he was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon. There was a 10-year-old girl who died Saturday following the same crash .

Birmingham police are investigating the crash.
