BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — “Southern Soul” the next event in the Safe Summer Series is happening Sept. 22.
CBS 42 House Calls: National Fruits & Veggies Month
The event is happening at 4 p.m. at Legion Field and will be full of soul music, community engagement and more. The concert will feature Sir Charles, Sherri Brown, West Love and Urban Mystic. Admission is free to the public.
Safe Summer Series was created to provide a safe, positive environment for the community. There will be a community resource fair featuring a variety of local organizations offering information, including voter registration booths. Attendees will also be able to enjoy different food trucks serving a variety of local and regional favorites.
