‘No reason’ for Alabama ban on Glock switches, Sen. Tommy Tuberville says

Alabama’s senior U.S. senator says “there’s no reason” to enact a state-level ban on Glock switches — devices that convert semiautomatic pistols to automatics. WBMA reported on remarks Sen. Tommy Tuberville made Saturday about recent violence in Birmingham, including the mass shooting Sept. 21 outside the Hush lounge that killed four and left at least 17 wounded. Police said some of the gunfire came from a pistol outfitted with a conversion device, or Glock switch.
