Tonight: Another cool night is in store with temperatures dropping to near average in the middle 40s under clear skies and light winds.
Sunday: A beautiful day is in store with lots of sunshine as temperatures climb into the lower to middle 70s.
Next Week: Dry weather continues through Monday evening as clouds start to build back in during our Monday afternoon. Much of the day will be full of sunshine, allowing temperatures to climb into the middle 70s, well above average for the mid-November. The rain chances increase Monday night as a cold front nears from our west. This will lead to a few rain showers as early as Tuesday morning before some steadier, light rain pushes in for the late morning and early afternoon. The heaviest rain pushes east of here by Tuesday evening, leaving us with a few lingering light showers and overcast skies into Wednesday morning.
In combination with the cold front, the remnants of Sara will move along the Gulf Coast, leading to much of the moisture residing to our south. Therefore, the track of the remnants is key to how much rain we get midweek. If the low moves further north, we could be looking at well over an inch of rain. However, the most likely solution is to get around 0.5-1” in Birmingham with less amounts to our north and higher amounts to our south.
