BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one injured on I-59 South near Arkadelphia Road on Saturday.
The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. The victim, an adult male who was driving, sustained life-threatening injuries.

BPD says that the motive of the shooting is unknown, and no one is in custody at this time.
