BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Birmingham Park and Recreation Board announced continued work on multiple city park projects on Tuesday, July 1.
Tresha Moore, the public relations manager for the Birmingham Park and Recreation board, said these projects are able to continue thanks to investment plans made by Birmingham Mayor Randall L. Woodfin, Birmingham city councilors, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and surplus funding.
