BESSEMER, AL (WBMA) — Early this morning, police responded to a call at approximately 3:10 a.m. regarding individuals on the roof of a house in the 2300 block of Clarendon Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male and two children on the rooftop.
The adult male initially refused to come down, prompting the presence of a negotiator who worked to resolve the situation. By 10 a.m., the man was taken into custody and is currently receiving medical treatment for minor injuries. The children involved in the incident are reported to be safe…
