JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A 33-year-old woman is behind bars Sunday evening following a deadly shooting in Brighton.
Jameshia Chavers is charged with capital murder after a man was found shot to death on the 4000 block of Letson Street around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office reports. The victim, a 39-year-old man, is unidentified at this time.
