Corner remembers teens lost in wreck with cross memorial

CORNER, Ala. — Two crosses now stand near the crash site of major crash on Mt. Olive Road, honoring the lives of Tristan Cox and Treylen Floyd. The Corner community is grappling the loss of the two teens. At a memorial Monday night, there were no speeches, only hugs and a prayer. The crowd grew so large, deputies shut down the road for the friends and family.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported that a pickup truck carrying eight teens struck a utility pole, killing Tristan and Treylen and sending the other teens to UAB Hospital.
