The Birmingham City Council on Tuesday approved an agreement with a federal law enforcement agency to help the city solve gun crimes and identify shooters.
The Bureau of Alchol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will partner with the city for up to three years, through an agreement to provide the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) to the city.
