MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A woman’s criminal complaint lays out new details of domestic violence charges against a Jefferson County principal arrested in the Port City.
The incident occurred at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel on June 9, but the victim did not report it until earlier this month. In a sworn statement, she alleges that husband Terrell Edward Brown grabbed her, causing bruising to her arms. Brown has been placed on administrative leave as principal of Center Point High School.
Brown’s wife, who is an assistant principal at a charter school, filed for divorce shortly after the incident. The divorce complaint accuses Brown of committing violence and threatening violence that endangered his wife’s life and health. She is asking for custody of their child, the family home and a car…
