A new concert venue has recently opened in Birmingham, Alabama, and it’s already on our concert bucket list. In just a few short months, it’s managed to host shows featuring some of country music’s biggest stars. The Coca-Cola Amphitheater, located near the city’s downtown district, opened in June and has since hosted concerts featuring Luke Bryan, Riley Green, Ella Langley, Dierks Bentley, and Zach Top. It includes an exceptional VIP experience, a variety of food and drink options, and 9,300 seats for audience members. Here’s what we know about the venue so far.

The building was a collaborative effort between the BJCC (Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex) and Live Nation Entertainment. Coca-Cola Bottling Company secured naming rights for the building for the next decade, fitting as the company’s headquarters is also in Birmingham.
The venue has a variety of seating options, but its most impressive are the “Rock Box” and the “Vinyl Room.” These rooms enable viewers to experience a “venue within the venue,” both from the outside and the inside. The Rock Box gives you access to a VIP seating area, elevated seating, and access to the VIP club. Special access features include reserved parking spaces, exclusive food and drinks, and a dedicated serving staff just for you.
The Ampitheatre’s Vinyl Room is a special, closed-off area for those with VIP tickets. Viewers can watch the show inside while enjoying a luxurious outdoor view and experiencing a high-end, elevated menu. The Vinyl Room is also available for private event bookings and has the capacity to accommodate 25 to 550 guests.
