Shelby County Sheriff’s Office launches program to help provide opportunities to inmates

SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office launched the I.G.N.I.T.E. program on Thursday, Sept. 4, making them the fifth site in Alabama to host the program.

I.G.N.I.T.E. stands for Inmate Growth Naturally and Intentionally Through Education.
