BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Birmingham Police Department is emphasizing the safety and wellbeing of local youth by actively enforcing the city’s Juvenile Curfew Ordinance. This summer, officers have taken deliberate measures to ensure children are safeguarded from potential harm during late-night hours.
Despite the return to school, several juveniles were found violating the 11:00 p.m. curfew this past weekend. Officers engaged with the teens, conducted interviews, and safely took them into custody. Parents were promptly notified and responded swiftly.
