TRUSSVILLE, Ala. — As Homecoming Week kicks off in Trussville, the community is reminded to celebrate safely. The Trussville Police Department has issued a reminder about curfew hours for minors to ensure safety during the festivities.
For those under 16 years old, curfew is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. For 16- and 17-year-olds, curfew is from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
“Parents and guardians, please remember that allowing minors to break curfew can result in a citation and fines,” said the Trussville Police Department. “Our goal is not to punish, but to keep our young people safe while they enjoy Homecoming festivities.”…
