Amid backlash over logos and renovations, Cracker Barrel announced it will close 14 company-owned restaurants in the coming year. The closures aren’t of the signature Cracker Barrell locations but rather a smaller offshoot with locations in Alabama – Maple Street Biscuit Company.
The Street reported 14 Maple Street Biscuit Company locations will close in fiscal 2026, which starts Oct. 1, 2025. Cracker Barrel acquired the brand, which offers a breakfast-focused menu with biscuits, waffles, bowls and specialty beverages, in 2019 for $36 million.
