BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A Hoover man has pleaded guilty to a murder-for-hire plot in which his family members were the target.
Mohammad A.H. Mohammad, 63, pleaded guilty to seven counts of murder for hire following his arrest in September of 2024.
According to a complaint filed in federal court, Mohammad tried to contact a person on Aug. 11, 2024 about finding someone to “take care of” his family. Specifically, he was willing to pay $20,000 for the murder of his wife, and $5,000 for each of his six children.
