IRONDALE, Ala. – The city of Irondale marked Hispanic Heritage Month this month by unveiling a bilingual edition of “The Rainbow Fish” along its Storybook Walk.
Each page of the book is displayed in both English and Spanish, offering a unique cultural experience.
The initiative is part of the Irondale Community School Book Walk, where second and third graders have the chance to engage in cognitive and physical activities. The city has posts around its half-mile walking trail, with each post featuring a page of the book. The goal is to complete a lap around the track, reading an additional page as you pass each post.
