Three northern Alabama high schools shine in Niche’s 2025-26 state rankings

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Three northern Alabama high schools landed in the state’s Top 10 in Niche’s 2025-26 rankings released Monday, solidifying the region’s reputation for strong public education options.

The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering claimed third place statewide, while New Century Technology High School ranked seventh and James Clemens High School took eighth in the annual rankings from Niche, which evaluates more than 93,000 public schools nationwide.
