BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after a man died from injuries he sustained in a shooting that occurred in September.
The incident took place on Sept. 28. At around 11:30 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 7600 block of 2nd Avenue North. Officers observed an adult male lying in the parking lot at the location, suffering from a gunshot wound.
