Professional angler indicted in fatal Smith Lake boat crash

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Professional Angler Flint Davis has been indicted by a grand jury after a fatal boat crash that claimed the lives of three men on Smith Lake in April 2025.

Davis’ charges include three counts of reckless manslaughter, two counts of first-degree assault, reckless operation of a vehicle, and operating without a license.
