The Birmingham City Council is set to meet on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 9:30 a.m. to consider several resolutions aimed at enhancing community services and upgrading fire station facilities.
One resolution proposes amending a previous agreement with the Jefferson County Family Resource Center to expand the RESTORE program, which provides re-entry services to youth. The amendment would reduce the subaward amount from $1,135,282.20 to $935,282.20, reallocating $200,000 for microgrants to community-based service providers.
