School-based grocery store set to open at Huffman Middle School

A new school-based grocery store is set to open at Huffman Middle School, providing free groceries to students and their families.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at noon, with District 1 Councilor Clinton Woods and representatives from Goodr and Birmingham City Schools in attendance.
