A Birmingham officer photographed asleep inside his police cruiser was off duty at the time the picture was taken, according to police officials.
The picture was taken Tuesday morning and posted to Facebook with the caption, “In one of the deadliest cities in Americuh…this is our Police. Welcome to Birmingham.”
