The 7th Annual St. Symeon Food & Culture Fair offered a day filled with culinary delights, cultural experiences, and educational programs. Attendees had the opportunity to shop for baked goods and gifts, enjoy a variety of hot lunch foods, and tour the church adorned with floor-to-ceiling iconographic murals.
The fair featured three church programs. Fr. Phillip Ritchey discussed church architecture at 10:15 a.m. The choir performed “The Psalms: Songbook of the Church” at 11 a.m., featuring hymns based on the Book of Psalms. At 1 p.m., Fr. Deacon Ephraim Rivers presented “What is Iconography?” highlighting the role of sacred art in the church.
The outdoor marketplace tent included six booths: the Middle Eastern Market, the Balkan Bakery, Babushka’s Kitchen, Southern Sweets & Savories, Cafe Europa, and the new Moana Munchies, which offered Polynesian food.
