United Way is providing free, unbiased counseling to assist seniors, their families and caregivers in evaluating Medicare options during the annual open enrollment period, which runs through Dec. 7.
The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), administered by United Way Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) in Jefferson County, aims to help Medicare beneficiaries make informed decisions about their insurance benefits.
