JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Four people, including two teenagers, were injured in a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning at an outdoor gathering in Jefferson County, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Palmerdale Fire District Captain J. Bruce stated that Palmerdale and Center Point Fire personnel responded to a reported shooting at around 12:30 a.m. in the woods near Highway 75. According to Jefferson County Sheriff Mark Pettway, this is a location where young people gather and have bonfires.
