BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham Police and Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama need your help solving the murder of a 63-year-old Bessemer woman killed more than two years ago.
In October 2023, Trudy Wilder Mustin was found shot inside her car. It was a ShotSpotter alert that led police to 15th Street Southwest in west Birmingham… Mustin was suffering from gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead at UAB Hospital.
Police say the initial investigation suggests the shooting was the result of an argument between two groups. Multiple people were detained and questioned by homicide detectives relating to the shooting, but they were all later released…
