PINSON, Ala. (WBMA) — A Pinson mother is urging for more safety measures after a terrifying incident involving her 8-year-old daughter at a bus stop. Amy Clements recounted the heart-stopping moment when a car raced past her daughter’s school bus, ignoring the flashing lights and narrowly missing her daughter as she attempted to board.
“They weren’t stopping. The bus driver starts laying on her horn. I yell her name as loud as I could. Thank goodness she jumped back. I mean the car just kept going. If she didn’t jump back, the car would’ve hit her,” Clements said. “It was very scary, I couldn’t breathe.”…
