Netflix star coming to Alabama for another show next year

John Mulaney loves him some Alabama. This spring, the star of Netflix talk shows “Everybody’s In L.A.” and “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” gave Birmingham props during a podcast when asked about the best cities to perform standup comedy in. Earlier this week, Live Nation announced a new Mulaney standup show in Birmingham, Feb. 19 at Alabama Theatre.

Today, a Feb. 22 show at Huntsville’s Von Braun Center John C. Smith Music Hall was announced. Tickets for the latter are currently on sale at ticketmaster.com and the VBC Box Office, address 700 Monroe St. Prices are $75 to $195 plus applicable fees.

Mulaney got an early showbiz toehold as a “Saturday Night Live” writer. During that time he co-created the eccentric character Stefon with cast member Bill Hader. Mulaney’s since returned to host “SNL” six times. As an actor, his credits range from TV’s “The Bear” and “Poker Face” to films like “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.”…
