Greg McElroy hosts the “Always College Football” podcast and dropped this week’s episode on Sunday evening, instead of Sunday morning.
During the episode, McElroy gave his 10 biggest takeaways from week 10 of the college football season, including one about Miami, Texas, the Big 12 race heating up, the College Football Playoff bubble shrinking, and many more.
Before getting into all his takes, he apologized to fans for not being able to do a Sunday morning show, explaining that he was flying from Austin to Alabama. He got to watch a lot of the games on his flight.
“For those of you who were expecting our Sunday morning show this week, I apologize,” McElroy said. “I am sorry. I wanted to do it. I just couldn’t. I can promise you, your levels of frustration pale into comparison with the frustration that we currently have with the experience flying in the United States of America right now. We sat in a tarmac yesterday for forever. We don’t need to go into it. It was fine. We are home. We are safe and we are grateful. But traveling from Austin to Birmingham, Alabama, should not be that difficult.”…
