BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — An Alabama man serving a life sentence at Donaldson Correctional Facility died over the weekend.
Larry Wayne Whitehead, 63, was moved from the prison infirmary to UAB Hospital on October 31 for continued treatment of “natural disease,” according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. Whitehead remained at UAB Hospital until his death on November 9 around 2:30 p.m.
He was serving a life sentence for a 1996 murder conviction out of Marshall County…
