BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Birmingham Police Department has welcomed four new deputy chiefs, each bringing decades of law enforcement experience to the city.
Leaders say the new appointments will help strengthen public safety, and some neighbors already say they’re noticing a difference.
One of those new leaders is Deputy Chief Heath Boackle, who first joined the Birmingham Police Department in 1997, following in the footsteps of his father, George Boackle.
