JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A pedestrian from Houston, Texas was killed in a four-vehicle crash that occurred in Jefferson County on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Donnene Walker, 29, was injured when she was struck by a Ford Edge that was unoccupied and in the roadway. The Ford Edge was initially driven by Walker, and it was in the roadway after being involved in a previous crash. Walker was standing near her vehicle when it was struck by a Nissan Rouge, causing the Edge to strike her. Walker was taken to UAB Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Prior to striking the Ford Edge, the Rogue struck a Chevrolet Silverado. The drivers of both vehicles were injured and taken to UAB for treatment. The crash left debris on the roadway, which was struck by another vehicle being driven by an 18-year-old juvenile. The 18-year-old was not injured…
