FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WIAT) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Fairfield.
At around 1:17 a.m., deputies responded to the 5051 Parkway in Fairfield on a report of a person down. Deputies found a 29-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by Fairfield Fire and Rescue.
