HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WIAT) — A record number of Americans hit stores over Thanksgiving weekend, and central Alabama businesses say they felt the surge.
According to the National Retail Federation, an estimated 187 million people shopped in stores during Thanksgiving weekend, marking one of the busiest holiday shopping weekends on record.
