2 charged in Bessemer Public Library break-in that caused flooding

BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – Two men are accused of breaking into the Bessemer Public Library, “ransacking” the place and setting off the sprinkler system by smoking, according to court records.

The library on 19th Street North is currently closed “until further notice” because of the “extensive flooding,” according to a Facebook post.
