Superintendent of Shelby County Schools announces retirement

SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – The superintendent of Shelby County Schools announced Friday, Dec. 4, that he will not seek reelection and will retire at the end of his current term.

Dr. Lewis Brooks recently told school board members and his staff of his decision.
