Oak Mountain Middle School’s eighth graders raised nearly $10,000 for Toys for Tots this year, continuing a 27-year tradition that has generated more than $700,000 for families across Alabama. The money came from a schoolwide bake sale, community donations, and local fundraising events, allowing students to buy toys at Walmart.
Only Oak Mountain’s 8th grade class participates in the long-running tradition, and this year nearly 400 students took part.
