JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed they have located family connected to two separate unidentified remains.
On Monday, Dec. 15, the coroner’s office asked for public assistance in two cases. One, skeleton remains found in a previously condemned house in Bessemer in June 2025, another a man found nearby the Family Dollar in Birmingham in early December.
A man named Clayton Everett Carper Jr. was known to stay at the home in Bessemer before it was condemned.
