Two Birmingham families became first-time homeowners less than a week before Christmas as Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with ABC 3340, held its Home for the Holidays dedication ceremony, marking the end of the program’s 23rd year.
The Kelly and Foy families received their keys after months of construction, classes, and volunteer work, officially turning the houses into homes during a ceremony filled with applause and celebration. Both families said the timing made the milestone even more meaningful.
