Former 4-Star Lineman Set to Transfer From 8-Loss Program

UAB defensive lineman JaSire Peterson, a former four-star recruit who began his career at Rutgers, intends to enter the transfer portal on Jan. 2.

Peterson, a redshirt sophomore from New Jersey, recorded 12 tackles in six games this season. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Peterson is believed to be the fourth Blazer planning to enter the portal, joining receiver Corri Milliner, tight end Elijah Lagg and starting left tackle Brandon Sneh. Milliner totaled 24 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Lagg finished with 20 catches for 164 yards for the 4-8 Blazers.
