TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — The Trussville City Council wrapped up its final meeting of 2025 on Dec. 18 with extensive discussion centered on the city’s school board appointment process, while unanimously approving nearly all items on the regular agenda.
Council members devoted the majority of the meeting to a third workshop discussion on proposed changes to the school board appointment framework, focusing on term limits, reappointments and the definition of autonomous boards.
