BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — The Birmingham Police Department’s Special Enforcement Division made 157 arrests during a targeted crime reduction effort conducted from December 15 through December 21, 2025, officials said.
The arrests included 31 felony cases and 126 misdemeanor offenses. Officers conducted 175 traffic stops, issued 282 Uniform Traffic Citations, and impounded eight vehicles, including one stolen vehicle that was recovered.
