BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A man who was shot and killed Monday night was identified Wednesday.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 3400 block of Boise Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. and found D’Andre Sowell Jr., 21, of Calera, dead from gunshot wounds on the front porch of a home.
