Center Point, Ala-Christmas Eve brought an early dose of holiday cheer to families in Center Point, Alabama as local leaders and firefighters delivered gifts to children at apartment complexes across the city.
Center Point city council member Jasmaine Deloach and fire chief Brandon Dahlen spearheaded this initiative. The two, along with other council members through neighborhoods distributing toys to children in an effort to give back to families who may have been in need. More than 200 toys were handed out, all funded through private donations and community contributions rather than city funds.
