UAB Medicine expands mental health services with new clinics

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — UAB Medicine will launch four new clinical services in the fourth quarter of 2025, expanding access to patient-centered mental health care across the region. The additions include expanded Early-Intervention TEAM Clinics, which serve adolescents and young adults experiencing first episodes of psychosis, mood disorders, or substance use disorders through multidisciplinary, family-informed care.

The expansion also includes a new Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Clinic at the UAB Center for Psychiatric Medicine, offering FDA-approved, non-invasive treatment for individuals with treatment-resistant depression and related conditions…
