A section of 26th Street South at the intersection of 11th Avenue South in Birmingham will be closed starting Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, for up to 10 working days.
The city of Birmingham said the closure is part of ongoing drainage improvements at Caldwell Park and along 26th Street South in the Highland Park neighborhood.
