BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – A YesCare nurse working at the Donaldson Correctional Facility and another woman were arrested on drug charges following an ongoing investigation by the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC), authorities said.
ADOC agents conducting surveillance in Bessemer say on Jan. 6, they observed Mercedes Davis and Latoria Tramble, identified by ADOC as a YesCare nurse working at Donaldson Correctional Facility, engage in a hand-to-hand transaction.
Agents seized 40 sheets of paper (approximately 340 grams) suspected to contain a synthetic controlled substance, along with $200 in cash, ADOC reported.
