VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (WIAT) — A Vestavia Hills man called CBS 42 looking for help with what he calls a “disaster waiting to happen” at his home.
Danny Barrett has lived in Vestavia Hills for 15 years. He said that back in 2021, a hill behind his home collapsed, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage when water flooded his whole first floor.
Now, he’s worried that may happen again. Because the hill is not on his property, he doesn’t know what he can do to stop it…
